View of the exhibition "Questions of Faith. Chatrooms at the Dawn of the Modern Era"
Special exhibition in the Ulm Museum
February 28, 2016 to July 3, 2016
in the Ulm Museum
The exhibition addresses the conflict between faith communities in Southern Germany of the Middle Ages. A joint project between the Ulmer Museum and the Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C., the unique perspective of this exhibit concentrates on similarities of these religious groups.
Rare examples of significant and artistically outstanding manuscripts, paintings, and sculptures from Judaism, Islam, and Christianity will be on display to document that theological differences were not only expressed in public discussions but are also reflected in literature and in the visual arts. The exhibition will also engage a younger audience with film clips, edgy music videos, and interactive computer games.
